Remarkable Israeli Red Blend

Established in 1993, Tzora is Israel’s first Kibbutz-based winery. Pioneer grape-grower Ronnie Jame’s vision of improving Israel’s international wine profile is now realized through the eye’s of James’ successor, Eran Pick, Israel’s first and only Master of Wine.

The grapes of Shoresh 2015 are sourced from small blocks of rocky soil from Tzora’s estate grown Shoresh Vineyard. On this shallow and poor soil the vines strive for nutrition, which results in concentrated grapes with an array of flavors. This is a rich blend of Syrah (47%), Cabernet Sauvignon (39%), and Petit Verdot (14%) showing flavors of dark fruit and spices. The wine shows beautiful and harmonious texture.

Shoresh 2015 was bottled after an aging period of 16 months in French oak barriques. The wine could be enjoyed now and will continue to improve in the bottle for many years to come. Shoresh is a result of a joint work with consultant Jean-Claude Berrouet, the preceding Technical Director of Chateau Pétrus.

Kosher, Kosher for Passover.
