Single Vineyard Rosé
Description
Single Vineyard Rosé
Psagot was founded in 2003 by Yaakov and Naama Berg, and has grown each year since. Grapes are grown on picturesque limestone terraces, 900 meters above sea level in the area called “Psagot” near Jerusalem. In keeping with the history of the location, the winery ages its wines in an ancient, underground cave that was used for wine-making in the Second Temple period. This rosé is made from a blend of red grapes, all sourced from a single vineyard in the Judean Hills. The grapes were crushed, macerated on the skins for approximately 4 hours, then pressed. The juice fermented with a variety of yeasts. It is fresh and crisp, with a mineral line, elegant structure, citrus aromas and berries and floral notes. The rich and intense flavor profile will pair well with a variety of foods including summer barbecue, as well as spicy foods such as curries. Kosher, Kosher for Passover.
