Located in the French Alps, Phillipe Ravier has been working his namesake 30 acre vineyard since 1978, with son Sylvain joining his father in 2008.

The Jacquère grape represents 50% of the plantings in this region (Vin de Savoie). It is a a clean and fresh varietal, distinguished by its racy acidity and aromatics.

Phillipe’s 2019 Vin de Savoie Apremont is a light-colored wine with a pale yellow hue and green and pearly reflections, this wine is rustic and fruity both, with floral and vegetal notes. On the palate it is an explosion of aromas that tickle the taste buds, with notes of fun flint, breadcrumbs, bergamot, citrus zest, peach kernel, banana and wild thyme.

Will pair beautifully with fondue, raclette, scallops, fish skewers, oysters, and trout en papillote.
