Established in 1994 and named after the landmark Wither Hills range that borders the winery’s vineyards, Wither Hills’ expert team grow and craft exceptional wines that reflect their unique sense of place. Complex and full of character – this is the beauty of Marlborough in a glass.

Distinctly Marlborough, Wither Hills Wairau Valley Sauvignon Blanc is refined and elegant. Mouth-watering, textural acidity and a juicy core of citrus fruit exudes notes of crunchy greens and tropical guava on the nose.

The wine will pair with plump, raw oysters, pan seared snapper and Asian style seafood dishes, as well as with green salad enhanced with either goat or feta cheese.

Wither Hills winery and the surrounding vineyards are accredited with Sustainable Winegrowers NZ – this is a set of industry standards that drive continuous improvement of the sustainability of the wine industry.

The winery’s Wairau Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2017  was awarded a 91 points Wine Spectator; the 2019 has not yet been scored.
