Drimia Winery is a boutique winery, located in Sussiya, in the heart of the Yatir region along the southern Judean Hills, between the mountains and the desert, 890 meters above sea level. Drimia was created by Elad and Nava Movshovitz, third generation of agricultural families proudly working to realize the vision of the Biblical prophets in the land of milk and honey.

This semi arid area is a meeting point between Mediterranean and desert climates. Deep winters enable a healthy slumber of the vines, while the sun, dry air, hot days and cold nights enhance the taste of the grapes, which are harvested by hand when ripe and ready.

The wine is deep with a beautiful red-black color. The nose is impressive immediately upon opening. Ripe red and black fruit but not jammy at all, hints of vanilla and other sweet spices from the barrel. The mouth opens with an abundance of fruit, ripe but maintaining elegance, with impressive depth, yet without any compression or heaviness. A juicy and very enjoyable wine, with enough structure and depth for further aging but very enjoyable already. Kosher, Kosher for Passover. Mevushal.
