Founded in 1760, Maison Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne Houses. The estate has strong historical partnerships with their growers, who all share in the pursuit of excellence. These historic relationships grant the estate access to more than one hundred different crus, 50% of which are Grand Crus and Premier Crus. Le Black Label Brut owes its iconic name to Victor Lanson, who gave it in 1937, both as a proof of openness to the world and as a tribute to the Royal Court of England, which Lanson has been officially supplying since 1900.
The NV Le Black Label is a blend of reserve wines spread over the past 20 years. The juice is brilliantly clear, with amber highlights and a fine perlage. On the nose you’ll detect springtime aromas that include hints of honey and toast. In the mouth the bouquet of ripe fruit will envelop your mouth. Lots of citrus notes. The wine is light and fresh with an extensive finish. 91 Points, Wine Spectator (2019), Gold Medal award winner from The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (2019).
