From the Zuccardi family, who have been making wine in Mendoza for 3 generations.  Organica is their certified organic range, emblematic of their commitment to the land and environment.  They are the #1 organic producer in Argentina.  They have a large composting program, including a dedicated ‘worm-farm”.  They bottle in lightweight glass and in 100% recyclable cans.  They use solar power in the winery with 100% water reclamation.  They also have energy conservation processes in the winery.  In addition, there are 160 acres on the estate that is completely undeveloped to keep the local ecosystem thriving.  They also treat their employees very well: child care and schooling for employees’ children, as well as adult education classes and access to computer labs.  They are the real deal!

This elegant Santa Julia Blanc de Blancs was created from selected, organically grown grapes from the Santa Julia estate vineyards. It is 100% Chardonnay, sourced from two appellations in Mendoza: Santa Rosa and Maipu. Full bunch direct press, the winemakers utilize the charmat method, after which the must was kept on the lees for 8 months. The color is gold yellow. Fresh fruit aromas such as yellow peach and apricot harmonize with notes of almond and toasted bread. It has a creamy mouthfeel, intensely fresh citrus notes, integrated with fine and persistent bubbles. Certified “Sustainable by Nature.”
