Or Haganuz Winery is a boutique winery established in 2005 in the heart of the Galilee wine region, at the foot of Mount Meron, with the goal of producing high quality wine, in a true "boutique" atmosphere. The winery is managed by the ultra-Orthodox cooperative settlement "Or HaGanuz", which encourages a lifestyle of work alongside studying the inner workings of the Torah. All the employees of the winery are residents of the settlement. The winery emphasizes the notion that "good wine begins in the vineyard.”

“Elima” is a unique wine produced with an innovative and ground-breaking method by Dr. Arkady Papikian, an international expert in the theory of wine and the vine. In addition to the benefits known in red wine, this wine is produced while completely avoiding the addition of bisulfite (sulfur dioxide). The wine went through a long extraction process of skins, slow fermentation and aging in French oak barrels. The name "Elima" represents the connection with Elima College, a college for complementary medicine studies and the theory of the Jewish body and mind. The college is located in the settlement of Or HaGanuz.

Robust wine, with both aromas and flavors of red and black fruit. Well balanced on the attack, with hints of wood and herbs. Smooth and long lasting finish.

Note: "Elima" wine is produced without the addition of bisulfite, therefore the wine must be kept refrigerated before opening it. After opening the bottle, it is recommended to consume the wine within 24 hours.

Kosher, Kosher for Passover. Non-Mevushal.

Assemblage: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon/25% Cabernet Franc.
