2023 Shiloh Winery Chenin Blanc
Established in 2005, Shiloh Winery overlooks the breathtaking Shiloh River and Samarian Hills in what most studies have found to be the most ancient wine terroir in the world. Selecting only the best grapes from this region, the winery combines state-of-the-art technology with the uncompromising professionalism
CEO/Winemaker Amichai Luria always had a passion for making wine. When he first started Shiloh Winery in 2005, he quickly gained a reputation for quality and professionalism. Under his guidance, Shiloh wines have been awarded gold medals and international recognition at the highest level.
The winery’s first Chenin Blanc was meticulously harvested early in the season to retain its acidity and aromas. This wine underwent partial aging in the finest oak barrels. Exhibiting a bright straw hue, this well-structured wine boasts aromas reminiscent of fresh spring flowers, guava, ripe citrus fruit, and Anjou pear. Medium-bodied, it delivers distinct notes of tart pear, lime, and minerality, presenting a mouthwatering acidity. The Shiloh Chenin Blanc culminates in a lingering finish with nuances of honeydew, green apple, and hazelnuts.
